How do I start recording an audio note?
Starting a recording in MuseNote is easy. Simply tap on the microphone icon in the Record tab to start recording. Long press the microphone to stop recording.
What can MuseNote help me with?
MuseNote can assist with recording audio notes, transcribing them using AI, formatting your transcriptions into different styles (bullet points, structured notes, meeting minutes), organizing notes with tags, and managing your professional and personal knowledge base.
Does MuseNote save my recordings?
Your privacy is our priority. MuseNote saves only your transcribed text notes securely in the cloud - all audio recordings are automatically deleted immediately after transcription to protect your privacy. We never use your notes or recordings to train our AI models. Your transcriptions are encrypted and remain completely private, accessible only by you.
How accurate is the transcription?
MuseNote offers two transcription models to suit your needs. The Fast model provides quick transcriptions with good accuracy, perfect for everyday use. If you need the highest possible accuracy, you can switch to the Accurate model. You can easily toggle between models using the switch in the top-right corner of the Record tab.
Can I change the formatting style?
Yes! You need to choose your formatting style before transcription. You can format your notes in various styles including verbatim, bullet points, structured notes, meeting minutes, and more. Each style is optimized for different use cases. Select any style from the Styles tab for one-time use, or set a default style in the Settings tab to use it automatically for all future recordings.
Can I export my notes to other formats?
Yes! MuseNote allows you to export your notes in various formats including plain text, markdown, and PDF. You can also share individual notes directly from the app to other applications on your device.
Does MuseNote support multiple languages?
Yes! MuseNote's transcription service supports 99+ languages. The app will automatically detect the language being spoken, or you can manually select your preferred language in the Settings for better accuracy.
